South America

Ride 2006/2007

January 20
A Great start to the rest of my trip. The drive shaft is doing great. Nothing but smooth trails. We're in Temuco, Chile, an easy 400 miles today. The road and scenery are much like it is in the states with few exceptions. The temps ranged in the 70's and made for a nice easy trip. We should head through the Andes tomorrow.

This is what a good "working" drive shaft looks like after the first 100 miles of testing

At the bathroom of a Shell station. Notice the price to use the facilities

We're traveling through wine country

Had to stop and pay some tolls. Many of the countries let us pass through the toll booths for free, but not Chile

This guy is not having as much fun as I am
