| December 28 We just arrived at Arriaga, Mexico for the night. This is a town that you would "never" pull into to spend the night, unless of course, it's already dark and you don't have another choice. However, I'm very impressed with the since of community within the people. The hotel is one block from the main square and after dark all the town's people roam the streets and meet at the square to socialize. It's something that's very common for them, but yet uncommon for us. I never felt insecure roaming the streets for a brief walk. It was quite nice. |
