  • Highway 82 across Arkansas and Louisiana will take you to Leland, then ease south on Dean road to Bourbon. It's always the most interesting if you wait until late at night to arrive.
  • Price range of food? Pricey, but good (Menu is on the web)
  • Type of food? Steaks, Fish, Hot Tamales (fried)
  • Your recommendation of a particular dish? The Hot Tamales and Fried Catfish are real good, but their fried pickles and green tomatoes aren't bad either.
  • What is unique about this cafe? Great old building out in the middle of nowhere. Come early to get a place to eat. If you come too late you will need a reservation.

*** An oasis of a restaurant in a desert of crop fields.

*** The wait staff is spectacular, entertaining, and can take a lot of
bull.
