Private Dinner and a Movie

Indochina

Saturday, January 8, 2011, 6:00 pm

Gentle Creek Country Club, Prosper, TX

We would like to invite you to come see a video of the Globeriders.com adventure to Vietnam, Laos, and neighboring countries to explore a world many of us will never know (thankfully). However, it is very intriguing and captivating regardless of your desires to ride in that part of the world. Even Joy will come and watch it, if she's not babysitting :).

Above all, it is motorcycle related entertainment and will be a fun gathering.

We need to order the food individually by 6:30 so the kitchen staff can stay ahead of the game for the evening. The video will start at 6:30 pm and last around 1.5 hours. The Bar will be open throughout the video. It is very necessary that you help us out by registering so we will know how many to expect (for obvious reasons). We can handle 40 folks pretty comfortably. Dinner is not required but highly encouraged. It is the only way we can reciprocate for using the facilities.

The viewing will take place in their media room with 120" screen and surround sound. It should be easily seen and heard from all areas, but it will require some noise restraints on all of us because a big part of the video is hearing their stories as they travel.

Description and Information
GlobeRiders has produced it's most captivating and exciting motorcycle travel adventure documentary to date with the release of the IndoChina Expedition DVD. From Vietnam to Singapore, traveling over 8,000 miles in 71 days, the GlobeRiders IndoChina Expedition takes you to the rarely visited (by motorcycle) countries of Southeast Asia.

The adventure started out in Saigon, Vietnam in September 2007. Adventure riders are Helge Pedersen on a BMW HP2 and Chris Poland on a BMW R1200GS Adventure. Award-winning videographer Sterling Noren accompanied the team in the chase vehicle to film the entire journey. The GlobeRiders team is one of the first ever to travel in Vietnam with their own foreign-registered, large-displacement, foreign-manufactured motorcycles.

Follow the adventure as they travel through extremes in weather and terrain, and discover the rich cultures of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia. After 71 days on the road, their epic journey finishes up in Singapore. The IndoChina Expedition DVD continues GlobeRiders tradition of popular, award-winning documentary programming, distributed throughout the world.
