Intermediate (skill level) Ride

Kingston, OK

We will depart promptly at 8 am from the Quik Trip at Hwy 5 and El Dorado Pkwy in McKinney. We will zig zag up farm-to-market and county roads all the way north across the Carpenter's Bluff bridge and on to Hwy 70 before crossing Lake Texoma to arrive at the Marina and Cafe. There will be a "lot" of one-lane roads and turns. Our ride will range from slow to fast. We will go slow on the bad roads and faster on the good roads. All roads are paved. The parking at the Marina is at the bottom of a slope. The slope is paved but the parking is not. Please be careful and don't park in a downhill position if you choose to park on the slope. The arrival time at the Marina will be about 10:30 am, so feel free to join us up there. We will be back home before it gets too hot. The route up there is around 100 miles. I doubt if we'll make a stop on the way up. The trip back will have less turns and will be quicker.
