Departing the
Cotton Gin Cafe in Crandall, TX at 8 am. If you want to have breakfast
then come early. We'll cross
the ferry and arrive in
St Francisville, La late in the evening. We'll have lunch along the
way and eat supper in St Francisville.

We'll head south to catch hwy 90 and
follow the coast all the way down to the ferry south of Mobile. After
crossing the ferry,
we'll ease over to the Destin
area. Lunch will be along the way and supper will be in Fort
Walton Beach/Destin. A Charlie Smith recommendation, "Fellers,
I can heartily recommend Dewey
Destins, either location, for fresh seafood, and the Key lime pie
at the Donut
Hole is the best. Actually the key lime pie at deweys is good as well,
so I recommend having both!"

Today, we cross the state of Florida
from coast to coast to enjoy the Atlantic side. The
Ferry crossing shouldn't hold us up too long. We'll have lunch along
the way and be in Savannah by evening. Scott Calabro has recommended that
we eat at Lady and
Sons restaurant. This is another of Paula Dean's restaurants.
