We will depart 9am from the Travel Center of America Rockwall, 2105 South Goliad Street at the intersection with I-30. Be fueled and ready to depart rain or shine.
We will take twisty scenic roads through the towns of Quinlan, Emory and Quitman, stopping in Gilmer for gas after about 120 miles. After a good stretch we'll proceed to Jefferson, an additional 40 miles. At about 12:30 we will eat lunch at Auntie Skinner's Riverboat club.
 
 
 
  Some options to spend your afternoon:
    There will be an optional group ride around the Jefferson loop
    Jefferson General Store with an old fashioned soda fountain
    Jefferson Bayou boat trips
    Jefferson Historic Museum
    Scarlett O'Hardy's Gone With the Wind Museum
    Just wander the antique stores and historic buildings.
 
 
Meet at Lamache's Italian Restaurant for dinner at 7pm, and for those interested, a trip to the Jefferson Railway for Fireside Ghost Stories and a Ghost Train ride at 9pm, if running. (tickets $12 per adult)
 
Sunday we will take a different route home leaving at 10am, stopping in Quitman for gas and a rest, then home.
