A closer & quick view

Just a few thoughts:
I'm not a tour operator nor am I trying to be. I'm not responsible for your happiness or anything else on this trip. We are all just individuals choosing to go together.

Any part of this trip is subject to change. In fact, I'm sure there will definitely be some changes as I hear more from you and other aspects of the trip such as motorcycle & room availability.

I'm thinking of departing Milan on Monday morning leaving everyone all weekend to get to Milan (some may want to go sooner). We'll depart Milan heading south to Cinque Terra for the first night. (I'm basing the rental spot in Milan). The reason we head south first is, it will give us a chance to get familar with the bikes and the new world before we head up into the mountains.

The daily miles are small, but there are plenty of opportunities to take on all the miles that you may want by extending the route. My route is based on knowledge that I received from a couple of books plus the conversations that we had. I do realize that it also excludes some areas that we discussed too. It's just hard to include everything and still get "enough", but not "too much". Additionally, Milan has great access to trains to take you to Venice, Rome or Naples before or after the trip if you choose. I will definitly try to make a quick train ride to Venice at the end of my trip. (The larger towns are probably best avoided by motorcycle as we discussed)
